R: Hi, I’d like to bring in the spirit of Aristide Blais if I might.
AB: I am so mightily honored to be coming in on your web page here. This is a smart thing you are doing here. Did you do this a long time already? It could be a fantastic art form if you persist and become skilled at it.
R: I’m honored, the honor is mine. You are an important progenitor of the family line. It puzzles me how folks have a fine living time, then move onto the other realms where the memory of them becomes less with time, and after a few generations there’s no knowledge left of them at all. Unless for fame. Such as, they did some activity that changed human history; then the whole world (or part of it) remembers them and their works are recorded by human history.
AB: I have to admit something. I wanted to be remembered a long time. I wanted to do great things.
R: I realize you had a fabulous career. You rose really high in your profession of medicine, you also had some powerful political friends. You were pretty skilled.
AB: What do you really want to ask me?
R: Yes. I guess I want to know about your belief system and what kind of spiritual energy underlay the successes you had.
AB: You’re right to call it spiritual energy. There is no such energy unless it is spiritual. Do you want the honest truth? My Spiritual source was a strong belief in myself.
R: Is it really that simple?
AB: It seems simple but it’s the most challenging thing for many people. They simply don’t believe very strongly in themselves, even if they appear to.
R: How can you tell?
AB: I can tell by their manner, by their bearing.
R: Is there a sure-fire good way to generate that kind of strong self-assurance?
AB: First, set the desire. Admit to yourself that you don’t honor yourself as much as you could. Dig deeply. Ask God to intercede. Ask God to bestow the wisdom upon you to find those ways that you sabotage yourself. Ask God for the will to change for the better.
R: Do people actually sabotage themselves?
AB: Oh, you’d be amazed. I did work in the psychological area as part of my medicine. I had to because emotions are such a fundamental part of healing.
R: Were you motivated to heal people primarily, as opposed to say, having a business approach?
AB: I’ve always known that medicine is powerfully compromised by business forces. But yes, I want to heal others, not take their money.
R: You sure had an interesting daughter, who was my mother.
AB: I had two daughters. But yes, she was special.
R: I like what you said about generating the will and the intention to think well of ones-self. I just don’t know how motivated I have been to seek the “fame and fortune” in this admixed and conflictual society.
AB: You’re cynical about life in general?
R: No, not about life, which is a majestic and magic journey. I’m cynical about making a mark in a compromised world. Even history is so compromised. Truth has been smashed by the dark forces. Always has been. When they get power, they corrupt everything to their own presumed benefits.
AB: I see your problem. You need to live your life for ideals. You need to live in support of the eternal verities. Never mind then, trying to impress the uninspired masses. I totally agree. Live then for the benefit of eternity. Work to impress the angels instead. The unseen forces that are witness to all you do.
R: That is a leap of faith.
AB: A necessary one.
R: OK then. I’ve been interested in what “light” means in the whole scheme of things. Light is much more than an effect. There are layers of energy there, and intelligence.
AB: Find those intelligences and connect with them.
R: Yes. I do need to hitch my wagon onto brighter stars. This world doesn’t impress me very much, unless it’s beautiful nature. Mountain lakes are high truths for me now. The wind, when it comes by and speaks to you, that is a truth for me. Getting a knowing look from an animal is a big truth for me. Saving a small, tiny bug and placing it outside in a bush, that is a necessary thing for me.
AB: You have to guard yourself from all coarse influences. And yes, your world is full of them. If possible, I would like to assist you in some way. Maybe from where I am, I could help with the choices you make.
R: That would be awesome. But are you now in the spirit realm, and not re-embodied in some new human (or other) form?
AB: Why should time be a factor of my becoming re-embodied? Eternity means what it does. There is no time in spirit.
R: It’s not right of me to ask either.
AB: As spirit, I can and will assist you, if you want me to. You have to give the OK.
R: This conversation is an assistance.
AB: Believing strongly in yourself is a lifetime study. Treat it like the amazing puzzle it is.
R: This is fabulous advice. Thank you. It’s pretty cool to converse with an ancestor this way, even if it might be my own imagination at work.
AB: It’s a very real thing if you believe it is.
R: Yes, thanks.
